Cocodrie, LA - around 930 pm on may 14, 2011 a bright orange ball of fire with a nice tail flew right above our camp. It appeared to be approximately 100 feet away. We never did see it land but it did have an arch to it as though it fell not far from us. It was the size of a soccer ball.

I saw the same thing, from east of the French Quarter in New Orleans. I only saw it for an instant before it was blocked from view by a building. It was very bright, with a tail.

I saw a blue meteor fall on IH 10 between Columbus and Sealy Texas and it hit what looked to be farmland up the freeway ahead of me at 9:17pm. It actually hit a car heading west on IH 10. The car was on the slow lane as if it was stopped in its tracks. plume of flames shot out between the front and back seat. The car was approximately 20 miles away from me at the time of impact. When I arrived at the scene a car was engulfed in flames.
