Driving I-45 south just north of Houston, Texas at 12:02 AM CST. Large meteor sighted on north to south path. In view for 7-10 seconds and appeared to burn up and disapate. Have seen many of these in the past but this one seamed to be a lot closer to earth than what I have see before?

Springtown Tx. May 29th, aprox 2 am, saw huge meteor fireball .... with the longest tail I have ever seen. With unobstructed views, I could see large fragments breaking off as it appeared to travel across the entire night sky, burning out just above the horizon....it was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.
